90% of all home invasion robbers knock on the front door! Protect yourself and loved ones with an intercom to talk to the person before opening the front door. Simple installation, use the 2 wires from the doorbell which is wired to a transformer that is typically located in the garage. Now wire those to the location of the incoming phone line which is also typically located in the garage. Place our controller where they intersect along with the supplied transformer and every phone in the house including your wireless phone can speak to the person at the front door. With our optional door strike release, you can also release the door by pressing a number on your phone to allow a person you know enter without ever leaving the comfort of your couch.

Telephone Entry System ![]() The TE110 provides communication between the front door and any phone in the house. When a visitor presses the doorbell button the phones in the house will respond with a distinctive ring. The home owner can then speak to the visitor by answering any of the ringing phones in the house. ![]() Two Door Application: 1. Complete the basic installation, setting the TE110 to respond to the # key on your telephone. 2. Connect the house phones output from the first TE110 to the line in on the second TE110. 3. Configure the second TE110 to respond to the * key on your telephone. 4. Set both units for different distinctive ring patterns. Two Door Operation: When you hear the distinctive ring pattern selected above: • Within 20 seconds - simply pick up the telephone to be connected to the door speaker. • After 20 seconds - pick up the telephone and press ## to be connected to the front door speaker, or ** to be connected to the back door speaker. Basic Connection ![]() Front Door - Back Door Application Basic Installation Steps: 1. Mount the TE110 near the main telephone distribution center of the house and attach the telephone line from the service provider to the connection labeled “Line” 2. Connect the main house phone distribution system to the wire terminals labeled “Tel”. 3. Connect the TE110 to the Channel Vision DP or IU series door plate. Note: if your IU or DP door plate does not have the small circuit board shown in this manual, you need an upgrade kit (model IU-U or DP-U). Please contact your sales person for details. 4. Connect power supply. Basic Configuration: Configure switches S4 and S5 to select the desired ring pattern. Set switch S6 to either # or * to determine which key will activate the system. Basic Operation: When you hear the distinctive ring pattern selected above: Within 20 seconds - simply pick up the telephone to be connected to the door speaker. Within 20 seconds - pick up the telephone and press ## (or **) to be connected to the door speaker. If you are already on the phone when the doorbell button is pressed you will hear a call waiting tone. Simply press ## (or **) to put your call on hold while you are connected to the door speaker. Press ## (or **) to return to your call. ![]() TE110DS Connection Diagram The TE110DS is an optional relay that works with the TE110 to control an electronic opener. TE110DS Installation Steps: 1. Complete Basic installation. 2. Connect the TE110DS (sold separately) in-line between the main board and small board. Basic Configuration: Configure switches S1, S2 and S3 to select the duration of the TE110DS relay closure. Basic Operation: To close the door strike relay while you are already communicating with the door speaker, press #7 (or *7). To close the door strike relay when you are not communicating with the door speaker, press ## (or **) and then press #7 (or *7). ![]() 2-Door Telephone Entry Controller
P-0921 ![]() The P-0921 provides communication between two different Channel Vision door intercoms and any phone in the house. When a visitor presses the doorbell button, the phones in the house will respond with a distinctive ring. The homeowner can then speak to the visitor by answering any of the ringing phones in the house. Basic Setup & Operation When the button is pressed on the door-intercom, the phones in the house will ring. If a doorbell chime and transformer are connected to the CHIME contact, the doorbell chime will also be heard. If the phone is answered within 20 seconds, it will be automatically connected to the door-intercom. If the phone is answered after 20 seconds simply press ## (or**) to be connected. (Note: the activation key is determined by the switch labeled ‘# or *’) While speaking to the door-intercom, the STRIKE1 contact can be activated by pressing #71 (or*71). The Unlock Door terminals can be momentarily shorted with a simple push button which will activate the strike without use of a telephone.
