Question:

AB-317 was purchased as a direct replacement for AB-315 so that I could use a lightning connector iPhone. Unfortunately, the new dock will not generate any sound through the speakers despite not modifying any of the other setup/configuration and attaching the CAT-5 cabling to the same connection on the dock as the prior version. What if any other configuration changes do I need to make? Is it possible that my new dock is faulty?

  1. Uѕeful info. Lucky me I found your site unintentionally, and
I am stunned why this coincidence didn’t happened in advance!

    I bookmarked it.

  2. I have successfully paired with the dock in Bluetooth mode. No sound to the speakers is generated in any input method – dock or Bluetooth. It is also not acceptable for the dock to not work using the lightning connector; which is the implication of the response above.
