What does 960H mean?

Asked By – On May 05, 2015 – With Comments Off

Answer:

960H is a newer high resolution standard. Older styles of resolution included CIF which was a 360×240 resolution. The next highest which is a standard among most analog cameras is called D1, this is 720×480 resolution (Standard Definition). 960H improves upon this by widening the viewable image to a more modern wide screen picture at a 960×480 resolution. More screen area allows for more pixels supported which allows for a better image.
